Who ever said truck driving is a no brainer definitely doesn't know what he's talking about. Maneuvering large trucks with cargos isn't the same as steering your Mini Cooper. It requires skills and practice that you can't just learn from driving a regular four wheel automobile. For most large companies, their truck drivers need to undergo CDL training to be able to drive their cargo trucks. So if you're planning on a career on truck driving, better think about getting a CDL course as soon as possible.
