:) lleweraF

I'm halfway done packing my stuff for Cebu tomorrow and I just think this is the best time to say goodbye. This might be my last entry for the rest of our online lives.ϋ

Lemme just thank all you blogdorks who, at one point in history, took time to click my link and stumble upon my page. Thanks for keeping me company all throughout these months. It's been fun knowing lil weird tidbits of yourselves which you chose to reveal through your blogs. It's been fun bloghopping through strangers' blogs and meeting new online friends along the way.ϋ

Let's not mention your names para walang ma-left out. The fact that you're reading this means you're one of the people who I'm thankful for. So, THANKS DUDE. YOU ROCK!ϋ

And it's sleeping right now, so SSSSHHHHH!!

----------------------------------------------
The past month has been about nothing but PRC. PRC forms, PRC requirements, PRC application and every stressful thing that comes with it.

It's that time of the year when you need your trusty old printer to work. You turn on your PC and fill out your PRC forms. You press the PRINT button. Nothing. You press it again. No sound, no movement. You try every possible strategy to make your printer work. Nothing. You restart your PC after plugging and unplugging wires. Nothing. So you're left with no choice but to print you form in a cafe:

1. You print out a 5-page back to back with colored seal PRC form thinking all data are correct and ready to be submitted.
2. You congratulate yourself for a job well done.
3. You scan your newly printed form and find out that a nurse's name has been misspelled.
4. You print out another form with the correct spelling.
5. You scan your second set of forms hoping to find no more corrections.
6. Unfortunately, you spot a doctor with no middle name in it.
7. So scold yourself, then print another copy.
8. You then find out that you have interchanged the respective back pages for each form.
9. You want to kick yourself but realize you cant do it. Instead, you start all over, printing from page 1, makng sure this time that the back pages are correct.
10. You finally get things done.
11. You find out that you have to pay 200Php for all the pages you've printed.
12. You want to complain but you realize it's all your fault. You gather all your things and wonder what you're gonna do with 180Php worth of scratch papers.
13. Repeat 5 times in one week.

When it's finally over, another problem awaits you. You and 300 other batchmates are ready to board the boat the Cebu but none of you can. Because the registrar has not released a single Transcript of Records for the nursing students. Everybody panics. The teachers are furious. It's October 25 and they're bound to release the TORs on the 30th. The deadline for filing for the Nursing board exams is on Nov. 2. Everybody complains but no one can do anything. The next day, the registrar surprised everyone by releasing all records in the morning. Finally.

So everyone rushes to the bus station to catch the earliest trip to Cebu eventhough the teachers ordered us to take the boat trip scheduled to leave at 11pm that night. We couldnt wait. Unfortunately, most if not all, didnt get the 1pm trip. And more unfortunately, it was the last bud bound for Cebu that day. So we had to settle with the ever trusty pump boat which left at 3:45 pm. Anything to get us to Cebu the soonest possible time. It was actually a mini-Amazing race. We travelled in groups. Some groups were ahead of us, some groups got left behind to take the next trip at 5pm, while some groups were lucky enough to catch our trip.

We arrived in Cebu at about 8pm. Had dinner in Ayala while waiting for the others who took the 5pm trip. We settled in Ate Mar's place at around 11pm after all the waiting, the taxi joyrides and jollibee desserts.

The first day of filing was traumatic. Stampede, anyone? Plus, all of our papers got denied because of some discrepancies in authenticity and some head nurses' credentials. So, our college had to send another copy of RLE summaries for each one of us, which means, everyone had to stay overnight to finish filing the next day (which was Saturday, by the way). We finished everything after lunch on Saturday, and instead of heading to the mall, we all went home and went straight to bed. If you were lucky enough, you might have caught me on GMA's primetime news on Oct. 27. I didnt see it myself but a classmates who saw the news texted me that I kept appearing on the background. Hehehe...I wasnt aware about that although media men were all over the place that day since it was the time when the June passers were finally allowed to do the oathtaking.

Aside from that horrible PRC experience, the whole Cebu trip was fun. What was supposedly an overnight stay became a 4-day trip since we kept extending and extending til it was really time to go home. There were 5 of us in the house, alone with no guardian at all. The place was acually big with 5 bedrooms, but 2 stayed in the master's bedroom while the 3 of us crammed together in one room coz no one was brave enough to stay in another room. Plus, the bathroom on the 2nd floor looked like something from The Grudge (which we watched, by the way), so all of us used the bathroom downstairs. It wasnt really haunted, we just loved scaring each other, especially when we tried opening the other rooms on the 2nd floor. The caretaker of the place hadnt left the keys to the other rooms, and since we arrived late already, they were already asleep. So we tried the akyatbahay tactics and used my old ID in opening the doors. We succeeded in opening 3 out of 4 doors and when we opened one door, it was vacant except for a wheel chair on the corner and we all ran out screaming! The next night, we watched the last full show the The Grudge 2, andwhen we went home, no one wanted to open the front door or be the first one to step in the dark. And every night, we'd all cram in one bed because no one wanted to get separated. What an experience. :) It's just a shame that I dont have a single photo of the 4 days I was there. Shame.

BACK TO THE PRESENT
It's less than a month before the exams and Im not even halfway with what Im supposed to be reading. We're leaving for Cebu again a week from now and stay there til the date of exams. I will be surrounded by people exchanging ideas and I will be left silent in the corner because I have no idea what they're talking about. Really, that's what's gonna happen.

Forgive me for nonesenselly talking about nursing cr*p, because really, I have no life other than this so there's nothing more I could talk about.

But honestly, I've been spending more time facing Ebay than my nursing books and my wallet's getting thinner and thinner by the minute. Somebody shut down ebay!

The sun's about to shine and Im supposed to be asleep now [or facing a textbook]. So tatah!

I promise to fix my link exchanges before I leave for Cebu. And I will fix this site before I leave too. SORRY FOR THE POP UPs EVERYONE! Will fix it soon.

There were links I'd like to show, but I cant remember any of them right now. Next time nalang.

For now, just visit THE ONLINE APARADOR for cheap stuff, mostly pre-owned. Some of them are mine, some are my cousin's, my aunt's, and some are from online friends. You can post your stuff too if you wanna sell anything, though we'll be closing next week coz I wont be around and none of them wants to take over. Or I might transfer the files to my friend's sites and they can continue the sale. We'll see. Just look around. :)

Toodles everyone! :)
