Late last month, I placed an order for a set of 3 Victoria’s Secret Pink with a Splash Colognes on ebay.com since I couldn’t find a local online shop that sells them for a reasonable price. I also wanted to roadtest my Paypal funds so eventhough shipping was quite expensive, I went through with the order. Withdrawals to local bank accounts still wasn't allowed last month so I had no other options but to spend my Paypal funds online.
The seller said she was gonna ship the items through the US postal service priority mail, and knowing how crappy our post office is, I gave her my aunt’s address since they live in a hotel so there would be less chances of my mail getting lost than having them deliver it to my address. I received a confirmation message from the USPS last Jan25 that my items have been paid by the sender and will soon be shipped (sosyal talaga ang US post office, may email confirmation pa). The seller told me it would take around 15-20 days for my package to arrive so knowing that the package wouldn’t be here til mid-February, I kinda forgot to inform my tita that I addressed my package to her home.
Since I’ve been kinda pre-occupied with my volunteer work these past few weeks, I never got to talk to my tita until last night when they crashed our house for dinner. I remembered about the package but decided to tell her before they went home nalang kasi ang dami niyang kwento. After dinner, I was helping my cousin with her Math exams when she asked me if I’ve heard about her “surprise package” from an unknown sender. Apparently, my package had arrived last Monday but since I haven’t told her about it, she had no idea who the package was from. The sender was Chinese so she could hardly pronounce the name. She called her husband in the US to ask if any of them sent a package but no one did. She set aside the colognes and decided not to use them until she found out where it came from. When they learned that it was mine after all, my cousin got pissed by the fact that the package wasn’t theirs after all Heheh. She was eyeing for the pink one pa naman daw.:29 Now that I got my package from them, she's still pestering me to sell the pink one to her. Eh she's still in 6th grade! I told her she should just wear her Nenuco colognes kasi it's more suitable for her age. She said nagsawa na daw siya kasi yun din gamit ng teacher niya. Do 6th graders wear Victoria's Secret?:20
Now that the mystery has been solved, they can all sleep in peace and I shall go get ready for my night shift duty.:3
