Every music player needs a good pair of earphones. You may own an Ipod, Creative Zen, or Samsung Yepp or whatever fancy mp3 player is popular right now, but if your earphones are crappy and sounds like a poor radio reception, your music experience wouldn’t be as enjoyable. Might as well listen to the boom box instead.

Personally, I use Sennheisers for my Ipod. When I got my Ipod some 2 years ago, I didn’t even know this brand existed until I started reading forums for Ipod owners and I found out that most of the Ipodders prefer this brand. So the copycat that I am, I bought myself a pair. I was quite okay with my stock earphones that came along with my Ipod. I thought that was how all earphones were supposed to sound, until I tried Sennheisers. Don’t get me wrong, the stock earphones were okay, plain sounding, not bad, but not mind blowing either. Sennhesier headphones have clearer sound, meaning you can heard the ambient sounds, the soft sounds which you can’t normally hear with ordinary earphones. With this, you hear the “real” music.

I bought my pair last Feb 2007, and right now, it’s still alive and kicking. After all those accidental pulls and wires getting jammed when I fall asleep while their on my ears, I hasn’t shown any signs of surrendering. I hope they don’t give up on me anytime soon. Although I wouldn’t mind if they do, so that I’d have an excuse to finally get the pink CX300. Killer sounds and killer color, I wouldn’t ask for anything else!
