Supersonic Heartbeat
So this is it, my new home. Not much to explain, but this is it. New home. Crayondrops no more
I wont be taking down my previous domain, I'll just let it die a natural death. I'll actually make money out of it before it expires.:16 Later na, when I'm REALLY done fixing this site including my links.
Nga pala, please leave me all your links, new and old blog friends. Ya know, the hacker deleted my entire blogroll in my previous domain so i kinda lost all my links. I'll be bloghopping in a bit but I won't be able to drop by all your sites so please leave me your links thru the comment page or tagboard so that can start putting up my new blogroll. Pweetee pleez :25
Anyway, I haven't been up to anything new. Still jobless, but it's not surprising. Surprising is when I suddenly get a job out of nowhere since I haven't been sending out application letters and CVs. As much as I want to, I can't right now. And it's actually fine with me, and best of all, it's fine with my parents.
I'm back on volunteer duty, by the way. Going back after suddenly disappering last Spetember was like going to kindergarted for the first time. I'd say, it was even worse. Sweaty palms and supersonic heartbeats. I was nervous (more of scared) that they won't accept me back. Haha I was afraid that they'd have enough new volunteers and they wouldn't want old, disappearing volunteers to bother them. I was scared they'd give me this "why-are-you-back-and-what-are-you-doing-here-we-don't-need-you?" look. But I was glad none of that happened.
They were surprised to see me. Surprised-delighted-happy-and-wondering. They thought I'd left for NZ already. Chismis nga naman oh. But it's all good. They treated me like I've only been gone for two weeks. I missed them, and I can tell they missed me too. Haha kapal!:3
Nothing has changed, except that some staff nurses have been rotated to other departments and vice versa. But all the good ones are still around, which is such a relief.
The only MAJOR change is the new batch of volunteers. When I disappeared last September, there were about 10 of us who regularly went on duty and I knew each and every one of them. Now, there are more than 10 new faces and I know not a single one!:11 Can you spell lonely? I'm an outcast. It's probably because 90% of them come from the rival school *cough*spud*cough* As of today, I've met 5 of them at different shifts and fortunately, they were easy to get along with. No tension whatsoever. Okay, maybe a little tension, but not significant enough to cause uhhh..whatever you call it :1
Good thing though, there's this one second (third, actually) courser who's ot from the two schools. She's a retired manager, take note, MANAGER, of UCPB Dumaguete, but she's not old ha. She also finished law school but didn't take the BAR. But hey, she also took up nursing AND passed the boards. Grabe that woman. She's so efficient. She's actually more productive than me, considering that I've been around longer. Or maybe I'm just too lazy :18 She's kinda my life saver. She does the things I don't feel like doing, e.g. skin testing, IV follow up and the likes. She never gets tired. And thank God, I have someone to go on duty together with, aside from those 90% [tama, let's just call them 90%]. I will never-ever go on duty alone. It's worse than suicide. It's like killing yourself after you die. So a duty-mate is a MUST. She's not really my official duty-mate but I go on duty when I know she's gonna be there. Still not ready to be alone with ll the 90% :12
Anyway, hanggang dito nalang muna. Have to eat breakfast before I go to bed. Siaoow! :j
