Guess who??

Last year, my friend Suzzie showed us a peice of paper with a poem which "she got from the net". But before showing it to us, she folded the last two lines so that we couldn't read the ending. She then asked us to read the poem and guess who the poem was pertaining to. I loved the poem so much that I asked for a copy. We believe she wrote this herself, but up to this day, she still insists that she just got it from the net. We think otherwise. :)

So now, let me do the same to you. Read the poem below and make a guess who the poem pertains to. Ready?..... Here goes...

STRANGER

There was a man, you do not know
Who this morning, watched you go
As you waved goodbye to me
This man you did not see

His hands hold nothing, mine hold you
His eyes are dull, mine shine blue
His heart is dark, full of despair
Mine is glowing, you live there

His arms hang limp by his side
Mine hold you with such pride
His days are sad without end,
Mine I plan with you to spend

He's so unhappy, while I rejoice
He hears nothing, I hear your voice
From his life he gets no pleasure
Mine I enjoy with you without measure

He always slouches, while I stand tall
He has nothing, I have it all
This man you did not see
When you waved good bye to me
(Guess what or who these last
two lines say..)

Edit: For this post, I've decided to put an answer box instead. I figured out it wouldnt be much of a challenge if you can see what others guessed. (especially because the first person to answer it got it right. :) )

SO DONT USE THE COMMENT LINK FOR YOUR GUESSES.

Thank you and happy reading!! :)
